Submission Instructions—and Thanks!

(Note: takes more time to read them than it does to actually follow them!)

1. Use the Submit Your Find form.
2. For security, you must include this subject name on the form where indicated:
   AA-image submission
   Just cut and paste it from here.
   
3. Include the location of the file (.jpg or .gif) as instructed on the form.
4. The file size of the image you submit must be less than 60KB. (Use Windows Explorer to check this: right click on the image file listing and select properties. You will see the file size information near the middle of the information box.) If your file size is larger than this, you will need to use a photo editing program to reduce the size. (If you use your camera phone to take the picture, it will probably be okay as it is. That's what I used.)
5. Include a description of your object, using existing descriptions as a guide.
6. Include a "where found" line with a date—like the captions you see now when you mouse over any of the small images.
7. If your contribution makes it past me, it will very soon show up in the American Artifacts Gallery.
